Engineering bots cluster around the parts of the work that are legible and bounded — reviewing a diff, reproducing a reported bug, triaging issues, keeping dependencies current. Review is the strongest of them because a pull request is a finite thing with a clear question attached and a wrong answer is cheap, since a human reads the comment anyway. That is a far better risk profile than a bot that writes and merges. Judge these on whether the output is specific enough that ignoring it would count as a decision.
